Fantastic place to work . Excellent , caring staff doing their very best for all residents . They work there because they choose to not because they have to. Great team .

The bad reviews on this are absolutely laughable, offering non UK residents accommodation and shelter for free and residents have the audacity to complain that it’s the worst place in the world due to cold water and because they had no milk, talk about ungratefulness of the highest level. The people who run this place probably operate on peanuts. If it’s not up to your standard you’d be more than welcome to check into a premier inn.

Unsanitary toilets and bathrooms, very small rooms and broken spring mattresses, bathrooms, toilets, dining halls and TV rooms High-risk places for transmitting the corona virus and any other disease, extremely poor quality foodSome of the comments below really shocked me, these are not living here and maybe finally working here for 8 hours, if you lived here you would notice the bad situation here, most of the residents are dissatisfied

Simply. People treat you just as the way you treat them! If you are so disrespectful it's obvious you are not going to be treated in a good way. People who work here are so kind! If you are looking through the reviews here because you were told you are going to be moved here, don't worry, I am here as well and on the time I've spent here I don't have any problem at all! Just be respectful with everyone in the staff.Be grateful that you have a roof over your head and also they give you food!

I was only a baby when I went and it was horrible and depressing they couldn’t even get my little brother some milk!! The food was tasteless and the rooms were dirty. The toilet and bath were shared between all of us staying there. It was right next to the prison as well, the people running this place should be sued.

In 2013 it used to name Angle Lodge. I spent nearly a month with my family. Very helpful staff, food is alright. Not the best but every day fresh and different menu. Saprate entertainment rooms and halls for male and female. Secure and systematic on that time. There was curfew time at evening for security reasons. Refugee Council was very helpful and efficient. Staff was very responsive. Immigrants like me came from different countries and backgrounds that's why some thankless and insane , characterless people always tried to complain or offensive toward each other or some times with staff.I feel sorry when I read some negative comments. Yes it is depressing because of our situation and limited freedom but what else we can get in over most desperate times. Good food, good shelter, average clean rooms, toilets and bath blocked by residents ,laundry, entertainment hall, library cross the road. That is not permanent. Eventually we had to come out from there. So in those depressing and tough days you will get enough to restart your life in UK.I am very thankful for them to taking care of my young kids and family. Stay blessed.

Omg I was here for nearly one month, it was a tough time. The food was not my type but they did them best and I have to say Tnx to all of them. As you know there is a big prison in opposite so there is no good signals.l don’t have any photos to share

Food is horrible, with the same ingredients it is possible to cook something better. The people who work here are good people except for some of them.
